This article described how to manually install the PIVKey minidriver to a Windows 10/11 x64 PC.
Locate the tagliov70px.dll in the Manual Install directory.
Copy tagliov70px.dll to the System32 subdirectory - this is typically C:\Windows\System32
Locate the x64.reg file in the Manual install directory. Right click the file and select open. This will load the registry settings that enable support for the different smart cards.
To verify the registry was correctly loaded, open regedit.exe and navigate to:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Cryptography\Calais\SmartCards\
You should see a series of entries as shown below.
